We have always been huge Disney fans. My husband grew up going to Disney and I dreamed of the day I could. In fact, he agreed to make Disney our honeymoon location because of my hope to see it one day. It was one of the most magical trips of my life and I fell in love. Fast-forward 12 years and we are a Disney family to the core. We have been trying to dream bigger lately and so I decided it would be fun to put together our Disney bucket list. These are the Disney experiences we really hope to have!
Our Disney Bucket List
This list is subject to changes as they come out. I am sure this list will be updated and modified depending on what Disney changes in the coming years.
The announcement was made at D23 2017 that there will be a new Star Wars Resort. They claim a completely immersive experience. You will leave Earth and head on an adventure in space in this new resort. The second the announcement was made my husband put it on his bucket list for us. I guess this was the natural progression of things after we had a Star Wars Wedding!
This tour is a 5 tour of Disney’s Magic Kingdom including a trip into the utilidor tunnels. This has been on my husband’s dream list since the day we met and now I am 100% with him. This looks like such a magical experience and it would make an incredible date without the kids one day.
After experiencing the incredible Not So Scary Halloween Party there was no question for us that the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would be a must for us! There’s just something about hot chocolate and a Disney Christmas that just has us dreaming.
We spent some time looking at the cruises and we would love to do the British Isles as well as some of the specialty cruises. I think this would be a great way to combine pixie dust, education, and an amazing travel experience all into one trip.
Though we have always loved Disney World, we know there are some breathtaking experiences to be had at Disneyland. I really want to interact with Alice and Hatter there as the Youtube videos I’ve seen look amazing! They also have attractions we don’t have such as Mission Breakout and the Matterhorn.
Some of the new cutting edge technology being used in Shanghai looks absolutely incredible. I would love to experience their version of Pirates of the Carribean, some of the unique food options, and though we are getting it in the next few years, the Tron Coaster.
True story, my husband is a better cook than I am. He loves food and has always dreamed of eating his way around the food and wine festival. There are so many amazing dishes that are exclusive to the festival and this would make a great date day our for the two of us.
Disney has replaced Wishes with the new Happily Ever After fireworks show. Because of R’s sensory issues fireworks can be hit or miss for us. I would love to experience the new Happily Ever After fireworks show in its entirety. It would be absolutely the top of my bucket list to experience this with my daughter without her being afraid. I hope one day to see that happen for her.
As a family, we have never stayed at a deluxe resort and had the full Disney experience. We would love to spend a few nights as a family experiencing all the amazing things Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has to offer.
A Pin Trading Day
This one is all my husband. He is a pin trading addict. He loves that he can buy pins at the Disney Outlet and heading to the parks to trade. We have a great collection of pins from every trip but he would love to bring a huge collection of pins and spend a whole day trading.
Many of the vloggers we follow claim that Boathouse has the best menu on the property. We would love to enjoy a meal at the Boathouse and test them out for ourselves.
We are fairly close to Disney World Orlando. It would be incredible to have a year to go out and spend time enjoying all the parks have to offer. The Photopass is a great perk because we could have fabulous pictures from our year without carrying the camera every time we visit.
