Even better, this is a reciprocal membership so we will be able to use it at other science museums in our area and when we travel.
A Few Highlights from our Trip!
R lost a tooth the night before we went so she had tooth fairy money. She really wanted a Butterfly penny so she bought one while there. Make sure to bring 51 cents if you have a collector of these tiny pennies in your family.
R gave a great weather report sharing that we would be expecting a tornado, then a hurricane, then another tornado. Bunker down friends. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
This is a extreme weather simulator. The winds were over 70 miles per hour by the time they were done. I just love this because R wanted Daddy to get pics with her new camera!
C really enjoyed this fire fighter suit. You look through the face and see video of a real forest fire.
In the human body exhibit there is a piano that plays these noises. You know my kids will camp out there for a while.
My little surgeons worked on extracting different things to practice surgery.
C was amazed by the ball being pushed up by air.
We have been studying the human body. This was a great way for R to learn about joints and how the bones in your body work.
In The Story of the World we have been studying the Egyptians and the pyramids. R was able to write her name in hyerogliphics and build a pyramid.
They even had a great exhibit about Hockey and how the arena is iced and prepared for a game. I couldn’t resist a toothless hockey shot!
