When I saw that Disney will be releasing the new Coco movie I decided it was time to learn a little bit more about Dia Del Muerto with the kids. I will be including some of the resources we looked at in this post. We also decided to have some fun. I put together this sugar skull craft for them and they had a blast. Even better, it only cost me a dollar to do this one. Check it out.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is starting soon. We went last year and fell in love with the Boo to You parade. In honor of the coming Fall months and the Not So Scary Halloween Party we decided it would be fun to put together a simple boo to you craft to enjoy in the house. I have included two different ways to do this craft and have fun with it. We will be going back to Not So Scary this year and I have some exciting things to share with you in the coming weeks.
Boo To You Craft
Both of the kids have 18 inch dolls like the American Girl dolls and they really enjoy playing with them together. This morning they were asking me for more clothes for their “daughters” but I wasn’t about to go spend retail prices for them. I pulled out my sewing machine and had a little fun putting something together. These won’t be exact measurements as each of these dolls is sized a bit different but it will be a great tutorial to help you make your own diy 18 inch doll skirt.
