We are heading out to enjoy the Flower and Garden festival at Epcot but we couldn’t do that without some fabulous ears. I love to make my own ears for the theme park. It’s a good time for self-care and I love that they get to be unique to what we like best. This time around I decided we need to have some fun with flowers. While we loved the Harry Potter inspired ears from one of our trips I needed some DIY Flower and Garden Mickey Ears!
We are so excited about Beauty and the Beast coming out. I decided this week it would be fun to work on a fine motor skills craft in honor of the release of the new live-action movie. This craft is both simple and fun for little hands to work on their fine motor skills. Even better, it won’t cost you more than a couple dollars. Go grab your supplies and prepare for some fine motor fun.

My daughter has been begging me to teach her to sew. I have been putting it off because life gets busy but this is our year for sewing. The family member who used to teach her passed away over the holidays. I decided taking the time to teach R to sew would be a great way to honor my aunt. She taught me so much and now it is my turn to do the same for my daughter. I will be sharing sewing with kids projects with you in the coming year as we learn new things. Today we worked on a DIY pillowcase that will be easy and fun for you to try with your kids.
