Every time I type homeschool organization in Pinterest I get these gorgeous images of gigantic homeschool classrooms. When I first started homeschooling this was really hard for me. We are homeschooling in a small space. Our home is 1000 sq ft which is bigger than some but doesn’t leave extra room for those gorgeous homeschool rooms. However, we make it work and I am really happy with how we do things. I wanted to share some of my tips for organizing homeschool in a small space. It may seem overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be.
We have been homeschooling for seven years now. It’s crazy to think that it has been that long. Over the years I have been a stay at home mom, worked outside of the home, and worked from home. My husband recently changed jobs and our whole schedule shifted. I still work from home and now he works erratic shifts based on what is needed. Sometimes that can be stressful but we are settling into a new routine. I want to share some tips for making homeschool work with your work schedule. It is completely possible to homeschool and work.

When you homeschool you are front row for many amazing projects, assignments, and crafts. It can easy to become a hoarder if you aren’t careful. Between record keeping and memories the different items can quickly take over your home. Instead of letting it stress you, try some clever ways to keep or get rid of items. I want to share some tips for choosing what you keep and figuring out how best to save it. I might also have some tips for getting rid of stuff. Just don’t tell your inner hoarder.
