If you are like me you can remember heading to the mail box or doctor’s office looking for the hidden picture in the Highlights magazine. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the people from Highlights while I was in Chicago. I learned a lot. Do you know they have a whole team of people who check your Hidden Picture to make sure it is appropriate for your child? There are many items that can be seen the wrong way and cause a concerned phone call to the customer service line. I love that the company cares enough about what my child sees to screen each picture.
Highlights has released some new things that you will want to see for sure! The new Hidden Pictures books feature an entire book of Hidden Pictures for that child who can’t get enough in their issue each month. They have even added some sticker fun. I played some of the sticker ones with R and she loved it! She really enjoyed the added fun of not just finding the item but stickering it.
High Five Jump In! is perfect for your younger child who wants to enjoy Highlights but isn’t quite ready for the more advanced puzzles and topics.
C really enjoyed the stories and the hidden pictures were easier for him to solve.
Highlights has also come out with a magazine called Hello for babies. With simple puzzles that are fun for mom and baby to do together these are must.
If you have an older child Highlight’s magazine is bringing the educational experiences mixed with a ton of fun! You will be able to follow a theme, learn a little bit, and even do a craft! This is a great magazine and one every homeschooler should consider ordering.
