As a family, we have started making family game time more of a priority. It has helped us to turn off the technology and just laugh with each other. Even though I have the reputation as the Incredible Hulk when playing games we tend to have a lot of fun. Because of our love of games, I thought it would be fun to put together this great list for you. Check out the list of my favorite fun games for kids.
When we started planning our Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party costumes, my daughter wanted to go with a lesser known Disney character. She wanted something that wasn’t going to be done by everyone in attendance. Then she found this picture of Pegasus from Hercules. She set her heart on it and decided she would be a Pegasus. I am so excited to share her Pegasus inspired costume with you because she is so excited about it.

Joining a quality homeschool group is one of the most valuable things I think a homeschool mom can do. You are able to learn from other moms, talk to people who understand, and find answers to a lot of your questions. I am such a strong believer in groups that I created a Facebook-based group so that I could be sure that my readers have a place to feel safe and talk homeschool. That said, I know that homeschool groups can also be an uncomfortable place for some. I often hear and even find myself saying “I’m too…. for my homeschool group.” There are many different things that fill in those blanks and I wanted to address them for a minute.
