1) I went to do a change of address online. It costs $1 to do it online, but is free if you fill out the paper form. Since I have a PO Box and go by the post office on a regular basis, I figured I’d do it the old school way. I asked the clerk for a couple of the forms because I needed to do a separte one with my maiden name (I’ve only been Mrs. Dunlap for 10½ months). She gave me 2 packets, which included some coupons. After completing the forms and sending them in, I got confirmations in the mail and those also included coupons. Best Buy, Lowe’s, Pier 1, and others. I don’t remember which came in which packet, but I know that there were Lowe’s ones in both. You don’t really even need to be moving. Just stop by the post office and ask for a change of address packet. Then use the coupons. Of course, you won’t get the 2nd round of coupons in the confirmation packet if you don’t move, but the first packet is still pretty cool.
I know that for some this topic will be too difficult to read. I am sorry. I do not know your pain because I have not lived through the loss of a child. However, I am posting because many of my friends and family have. I want to bring an amazing non-profit to your attention! I know that some of you may or may not agree with this. Please keep comments kind and understanding for those who need this more than anything.
Thank you Anna for sharing your sweet picture!

The name of the group is Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. They offer moms whose babies are “born sleeping” professional photographs of their baby. For most of these moms this will be the only picture they will ever have. They do a beautiful job of tactfully photographing these babies. I was very impressed.
One of our very sweet readers alerted me to this group. She used their services in the past and posted a beautiful slideshow. It brought tears to my eyes and a fresh perspective to my heart. They were some of the most amazing and beautiful pictures I have ever seen. She told me that these photos are her special keepsake of her sweet baby.

Today’s money saving tip will focus on saving on photography! I know for a fact that getting perfect picture of your kids can get quite expensive! Between sitting fees and portrait packages you could easily walk out spending over a hundred dollars.
What can you do to help cut the costs?
I recommend heading into your yard with your kids and a digital camera. leave it on and click when you see those pearly whites or a moment that you would love to treasure. You don’t have to be a professional photographer because everything can be edited.
When your pics are uploaded to your computer head over to www.photobucket.com and create an account. Photobucket has a great editing software. You can crop, change color to black and white, or even highlight specific colors using their site.
All of the above pics are mine taken around my area. I love them because I get the real emotion my kids were feeling instead of just a pose that was forced. =)
You can then use many of the photo printing sites out there to print your photos. You will get all the prints you want for a fraction of the cost!
Go out get your camera and save some money!
