We have been having a lot of fun making slime in the house lately! My friend over at Surviving a Teacher’s Salary shared the base recipe with me and I have tweaked it as needed. to get something I am really happy with. We don’t get snow in Florida but we wanted a Snow slime for the fun of it. So I put together this white glitter slime recipe and we are loving it!
White Glitter Slime Recipe
The ingredients below work well for multiple batches. You will only replace certain items so it makes slime making considerably cheaper while still keeping a high quality long lasting slime. This would make a great stocking stuffer or party favor! I bet it would be adorable for a Frozen themed birthday party!
- 4 oz container of glue (we prefer Elmer’s)
- 1/2 cup shaving cream
- 1/2 cup foaming hand soap
- 1 tablespoon hair conditioner
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- Glitter – We did a silver glitter we found at the dollar store.
- 1 cup warm water
- Ziploc bag for slime
Start by adding glue.
Add 1/2 cup of shaving cream and mix well.
Add 1/2 cup of foaming hand soap and mix.
Add 1 tablespoon of conditioner.
Add 1 TBS Cornstarch and mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix together 1 TSP borax and 1 cup warm water.
Add 1 tsp of this mixture to your glue mixture at a time until your slime is the consistency you want.
You may need to play with your slime a bit to get it to the consistency that you want.
Store in a sealable container.
This recipe makes one very large batch. You could split it between a few kids or break it up into smaller containers to use as stocking stuffers or as a party favor. I split it between my two and they had plenty to play with.
